On the Search Results page
• Check the boxes of the data sheets you wish to add to your Folder. You may add up to 20 to each library, using the results of multiple searches.
• In the "Other Tasks" drop-down box, select "Export to ANSYS".

• A window will open asking you to save a .xml file. Save the file in a place you'll remember.
• Import the file into ANSYS: In your ANSYS Workbench software:
  • Go to the "Engineering Data" Tab. Select "Import," and then "Materials."

  • Click "Add" to add a new data source, and then with "Library File" highlighted, click "Browse" to find the XML file you saved from MatWeb.

  • Click open to select your saved file, then hit "OK" to add this data source.
  • Next, select the materials from this source that you wish to import.

  • After selecting the materials, Click "OK," and the materials will be available in the Workbench material list. You can then edit them or use them in analysis.
